History of our firm
In the past “shipping” meant simply goods transportation, that was realized by a driver and his lorry. Today the shipping or spedition is made up of wide range of freight forwarding services made to measure according to requirements of each individual customer. Our services are supported by the expertise of national and international regulations, the accuracy and quality of transportation and above all, the optimal capacity utilization to the customer interest. The complex of high-quality freight services for a favourable price that is the guiding principle of our approach to a customer.
The company PROGREW s.r.o. was founded in 1996 as the corporation of the company Grewer and the Provodínské písky a.s. The company Grewer had started its activities in spedition already in 1945. In the mid 50’s the Grewer specialized itself in transportation of dry loose material in bulk tank trucks and in 1969 extended its services for the transport of a deep frozen liquefied gasses. Many years of cooperation of the company Grewer and the German group Quarzwerke lead later to a foundation of a joint concern in the Czech Republic and Poland.
